Does it hurt when you go to the doctors to get the ingrown toenail out?

i keep hittin my toe and i dont kno if itts infected or not and im really scared that it will hurt if i go to the doctor do the even get you toe numb>>??? im onlly 12 please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
