Why Second Life Graphics Don't Work With New HP?
Second Life takes a pretty good graphics card to just sit around and watch people materialize. If you're on a dance floor or someplace with a lot of fires or sparkling jewels (those things eat graphics cards), you need a top-cl video card to get any decent frame rate. If your computer has a business-cl video card (like an Intel), you're going to see a series of still pictures. (It was fun trying to play from the office, with crappy video cards, but it got old fast.) Go to a href="http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest" rel="nofollow"http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/ref…/a to see how your computer stacks up. (Minimum will work, but you won't be happy. Recommended will work nicely, if you keep the demands down [in the debug menu, mainly]. Turn reflections all the way up, look into the water, and watch your video card cringe.)
