Motorcycle start up, problems XJ600N 95?

i have problems with my yamaha xj600n 95 model, it wont start on the on any more, everything is fine on the bike and i believe it may be a worn cog in the clutch embly but i have been informed that you can not buy singlular cogs? any ideas what this may be or has any one had similar problems with a similar bike
