Question for Married Folks or Married ladies- What is the rules of being married?

And your single girlfiriends hanging out with you. I heard that you should keep your single girlfriends at a distance because the "it just happen" can always happen between a spouse and a friend. Is it true? I've read stories of best friends (i.e. Shania Twain) so what are the rules?
