Where did I go wrong with the Dreamfields Low Carb pasta and Clico Alfredo?

So I boiled up a batch of the Dreamfields Penne Pasta, the "healthy carb living" its supposed to be low glycemic. I then sauteed some onions in a frying pan and then tossed in a half a jar of the Clico Roasted Garlic Alfredo. Once that was hot, I combined everything and I thought it would taste great, but it doesn't. I used a little grapola g seed oil when satueeing the onions. Where did I go wrong? What ingredient is the least recommended. It just tastes flat and wierd. I expected some flavor.
